Crowns & Bridges

At Dentistry at Market Mall, we offer dental bridges and crowns to restore your teeth to your desired smile.

What is a Crown?

A crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is placed over a tooth. It is used to strengthen and protect your tooth structure.

Most crowns are made of a hard, white substance to help them look natural.

If you have a root canal, your dentist will likely recommend a crown to strengthen your tooth after this procedure.

How does the procedure for dental crowns work?

With every restoration, we want a secure fit that feels like your natural teeth.

The crown procedure requires two appointments.

At your first appointment, your dentist will prepare your tooth for its placement and will take an impression of your tooth and the gum area around it, from which the custom crown will be made.

As you wait for your permanent crown, a temporary crown will be placed to protect the area.

Dental Bridges

A bridge covers or bridges the gap a missing tooth creates.  A bridge can keep your other teeth from moving out of place and will allow you to chew on the side of your mouth that previously had missing teeth. Once a bridge is placed, it works just like your natural teeth.
